The majority of Simply Khushi pieces are crafted from 18ct gold-plated stainless steel. We chose this material composition because it gives you the warm, luxurious look of gold with the everyday durability and affordability that fits real life.

Stainless steel is one of the most skin-friendly base metals available, making our pieces a great choice for those with sensitive skin. As with any jewellery, though, everyone's skin reacts a little differently, so if you have a known metal allergy we always recommend patch-testing where possible. Please refer to the material composition listed for each item on each product page.

You'll see a lot of jewellery brands claim their pieces are "waterproof" or "100% tarnish-resistant". In reality, based on the science of material composition, this is rarely accurate. All gold plating (no matter the brand, the price, or the marketing) is a layer of gold applied over a base metal, and that layer will naturally wear over time from regular contact with water, chemicals, daily friction and individual skin chemistry. No plated jewellery lasts forever untouched; the honest question isn't if it will change, but how slowly.

What actually determines how long your jewellery keeps its shine isn't a marketing label - it's the quality and thickness of the plating itself, and the plating method used. The majority of our pieces are finished using PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition), a vacuum-based coating process rather than traditional electroplating. PVD produces a denser, harder-wearing bond between the 18ct gold layer and our stainless steel base, giving significantly better resistance to scratching, colour change, and everyday wear than standard plating methods — which is part of why we've chosen it for our pieces.

Alongside the plating method, how you care for your jewellery plays a genuinely significant role in its lifespan. With high-quality materials and a little care, your Simply Khushi pieces are designed to become favourites you'll reach for again and again. Each bracelet's length is listed on its product page. To find your fit at home, wrap a soft tape measure around your wrist, or use a piece of string around your wrist and then measure that length against a ruler. Compare this measurement to the bracelet length listed on the product page to find your perfect fit.

Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information so you can follow its journey to your door.

We don't currently offer a formal warranty period, but we stand behind the quality of our pieces and recommend you treat them according to our jewellery care advise. If something isn't right with your order, please reach out - we look at every case individually and want you to love what you're wearing.

If you need to make a change, contact us as soon as possible after ordering. We process orders quickly, so we can't always guarantee changes can be made, but we'll do everything we can to help.
